Involved in most of the biggest projects around the world, such as the East European high speed line - the first interoperable high speed line in Europe - as well as High Speed One in England and the Cairo Metro, the Infrastructure Group of the French Federation of Railway Industries, achieved a turnover of €1700m in 2009, 40% came from exports. It employs more than 7000 people, 2700 of whom are based outside France. Its activities were featured at the Innotrans 2010 trade fair in Berlin.
