Robust RFID data carrier with extra-large memory

Balluff has presented a new generation of data carriers, up to eight times faster than the standard, with extra-large memory of up to 128 kBytes at the SPS IPC Drives trade fair. These drives work up to eight times as fast as the standard ISO 15693, making them the ideal choice for track-and-trace applications with high data volumes such as those used in assembly lines in the automotive industry.

Tool coding using Industrial RFID

Tool identification using Balluff Industrial RFID increases efficiency, as it makes incorrect tool allocation or missing tools a thing of the past. All the tool-relevant data are stored without contact on a data carrier embedded in the tool holder. Automatic loading into the system memory means all the data are always correct and up-to-date. Because the data are continuously updated when the tool is loaded and unloaded. In modern production facilities this ensures maximum tool utilization and high machine uptime.

Balluff receives third recognition from Bosch

Robert Bosch GmbH awards Balluff GmbH, sensor specialist and connectivity provider from Neuhausen a. d. Fildern, the "Preferred Supplier" status. This is the third time in a row Balluff has been recognized.

BSI inclination sensors – for special demands

The new, liquid-based BSI inclination sensors from the sensor specialist Balluff detect deviations to the horizontal on an axis over a full 360° contact-free and absolutely. With an extremely high accuracy of 0.1°C, a resolution of 0.01° and a temperature drift of just 0.01% /10K, they are the ideal choice when, in complex applications, inclination angles need to be precisely detected or rotary movements must be constantly tracked.

Track-and-trace made easy : complete line of traceability solutions

Traceability creates lean manufacturing processes, simplifies just-in-time deliveries, aids legal certainty and ensures product quality. The sensor specialist and RFID provider Balluff can look back on 25 years of experience in this area and offers an extensive portfolio of track-and-trace solutions. The portfolio was recently expanded to include new RFID technologies for high-temperature applications, which are often called for in the semiconductor industry or in paint-spray lines and drying ovens in the automotive sector.
