Since mid-April, Eplan has been an official Siemens PLM Solution Partner. The aim of the partnership is to offer an interface between two market-leading systems - Eplan and Teamcenter. This integration closes a loophole in the PLM process: the configuration data for the Eplan platform can now be processed in Teamcenter. Companies from different industries can benefit from this integrated approach which forms part of a consistent product creation process.
With its global 3i modernization program, REDEX has transformed its Senonches plant into a state-of-the-art center of gear excellence. As a result, REDEX is now offering aeronautical and motor racing quality gears as a standard in its axis drives to machine tool OEMs.
TCD (Total Cost of Design) and TCM (Total Cost of Manufacturing) are essential factors in maintaining a leading position in high-demand and competitive machine-tool markets worldwide. With one eye on the costs and the other on performance level, most of the machine-tool leaders have switched to the cubic concept, invented and developed by REDEX to enhance axis-drive global solutions.
Icon Polymer Group, a technology company in engineered polymer products, has further confirmed its status as a key partner to the global aerospace and defence sector by hosting a group of senior sector decision makers at its global headquarters in Retford, UK.
For the past few years, Renault's site in Cléon, France, has been using Keyence's LJ-G laser displacement sensors on its G9 engine production line. The site chose the sensors for their detection reliability and ease of use.
This innovative solution offers higher accuracy, stability, speed and ease-of-use compared to the previous generation of LS-7000 Series micrometers that are part of Keyence's flagship products
No moving parts design; for ultra-high speed and accuracy. Conventional micrometers have typically adopted a "laser scan method" using physical moving parts, resulting in a limitation on the ability to improve speed and accuracy. The LS-9000 Series utilises a "high-speed exposure CMOS + high-intensity Green-LED" method that eliminates the need for moving parts, achieving further improvements in speed and accuracy. The elimination of moving parts also gives the model extremely high durability and longevity.
Berlin – The recent introduction of the infrared linescanner system ScanIR3 complements the product portfolio of the Ircon pyrometer brand. This new series was specially developed to create real-time thermal images in a wide variety of applications, for instance in the glass, metals, semiconductor, and plastics industry. The linescanners are suitable for temperature monitoring of continuous processes as well as discrete manufacturing in production lines. The series comprises eight models for various spectral ranges and wide temperature ranges. Featuring built-in laser sighting, water-cooling, and an air purge housing, the rugged units withstand even the most demanding conditions.
