The Prolight & Sound 2014 trade fair at a Frankfurt venue early April gave VERLINDE the opportunity to officially announce a contract for 1000 STAGEMAKER SR motors placed by AED Rent, a world leader for stage decoration equipment rentals. A gilded hoist with identification number 1001/1000 was symbolically handed over as a gift to Glenn ROGGEMAN, CEO of AED group.
This range of STAGEMAKER controllers has been specially developed to control Verlinde STAGEMAKER motors, series SR. Three versions are available: ECO, RIGGER and THEATER with 4, 8 and 12 channels. STAGEMAKER SR motors can also be remote controlled, individually or as a group. Very simple to very complex scenographic effects can thus be obtained safely by merely pressing a button. By connecting several controllers together up to 60 STAGEMAKER motors can be simultaneously managed. The whole range was displayed for the first time at the last Prolight&Sound trade show.
Southco has expanded its successful line of rotary latching solutions with the launch of the compact R4-10 Two-Stage Rotary Latch, which allows for increased operator safety by eliminating false latching conditions in enclosure applications. The compact design of the R4-10 Two-Stage Rotary Latch occupies minimal space within the enclosure, providing concealed latching and increased security.
A width of just six millimeters, an extended temperature range up to 70 °C, and high long-term stability, reliability and precision—this is what characterizes the signal conditioners of the new SC-System that will be presented for the first time at this year's Hannover Trade Fair.
HMS Industrial Networks now introduces Netbiter Remote Access into the Netbiter Remote Management solution. Remote Access is a technology that provides an instant, secure communication tunnel to remote equipment, such as PLCs and machines. It allows users to employ their usual PLC configuration software such as Rockwell RSlogix® or Siemens TIA Portal®, just as if they were connected to the machine on site. This makes it possible to instantly take action in case an operational problem occurs and reduces the need to travel to the site.
